On certain Windows 8.1/10 devices, the Miracast feature is not available if the device's wireless properties are set to use “5GHz only” (meaning 2.4GHz is disabled for the wireless adapter).
The result is:
- Win 8.1 Project menu doesn't display the "Add a wireless display" option
- Win 10 Connect menu displays "Your PC or mobile device doesn't support Miracast, so it can't project wirelessly."
Please make sure that the 2.4GHz wireless option is enabled or set to “Both”. Then retry the discovery/connection to the ScreenBeam receiver.
