Wireless display capability is built into Windows 8.1. The Intel® WiDi Application is only compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8. Intel® WiDi systems upgraded from earlier versions of Windows are connected to ScreenBeam using the Project menu as follows:
- Slide in the Charms menu from the right of the screen.
- Select Devices
- Select Project from the Devices menu
- Select your ScreenBeam receiver from the list of detected wireless display devices. If your receiver does not appear in the list, select Add a wireless display.

Found my device but it would not connect, Intel WiDi app does not work on latest build of Windows 10. Well done Microsoft, another reason to move to Linux or Apple.
Hello Peter,
If you would like to look into the issue you are having please submit a ticket at the top of the page. Normally this is resolved by updating the wireless adapter driver and/or display adapter driver for your Windows 10 device.
What does it mean when it doesnt eveb show up to connect it to your laptop ?
