There could be a few things causing this issue.
- You must have an active screen Mirroring session before launching the Configurator.
- Improper app installation
- Incorrect device and app settings
- Device capabilities
- Environmental issues
Things to try.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Screen Beam configuration Utility
- Uninstall the Configuration Utility
- power the device off then back on
- reinstall the Configuration Utility
- say yes to the GPS location request
- Turn Air plane mode on then off
- Go into settings for the GPS location and enable for the ScreenBeam configuration utility app.
- Disconnect from your wireless network and reattempt connectivity
- Make sure your device supports Miracast.
