There are several reasons for this.
1. The source device (ie., Set-top/Cable box) has been turned off. Turning the source device off or rebooting it breaks the HDCP network protocol so it cannot properly re-initialize the HDCP connection so the MyWirelessTv 2 Transmitter needs to be power cycled.
2. The source device (ie., Set-top/Cable box) was recently updated and your by your provider and it had to reboot once again breaking the HDCP network protocol.
We recommend you only turn off the Tv and not the Set-top/Cable box or the MywirelessTv 2.
